Questions and answers
Only the tour guide’s pocket transmitter activates the dialogue function, allowing the guide to keep the tour on schedule. This allows for the inclusion of separate question and answer sessions on the programme as well as activating dialogue for participants when they raise their hand. Since only one person can speak at a time with the group listening in, the dialogue remains easy for the guide to manage.

The TOM-Audio TG-101 eTour digital tour guide system features a dialogue function on the transmitter and receiver.
- To open a dialogue, the transmitter (guide) moves its switch to ON.
- Now the first participant who presses the "Transmit" button on the side can ask the guide a question.
- All group members can listen to the conversation.
- When the dialogue is finished, the participant releases the button and the next participant can use the dialogue function.
- To end the dialogue, the tour guide switches the talk button on the transmitter to OFF.
- The dialogue function is discretionary and does not interrupt a guided tour.

The system consists of transmitters (TOM-Audio TG-101T), receivers (TOM-Audio TG-101R) and a SyncKit (TOM-Audio SK-100).

This drawer is the ideal solution if the tour guide system will not be transported frequently. The charging drawer for 60 devices is permanently mounted in a sturdy metal housing. A rear-mounted fan ensures good ventilation even when the front flap is closed.
